Jackie Wolf

Age: 16

Height: 5’9″

Personality Type: INFJ-T

Bio: The protagonist of Protectors, Jackie Wolf is the daughter of Messengers, Raidas who live in the city to save slaves. Three months prior to the story, her parents are arrested and she is forced to live on the street with her little brother William. Jackie desperately wants to be the courageous heroes that her parents were, but fear tends to rule her more than she rules it and she often freezes in conflict.

Monty Keller

Age: 17.5

Height: 6’2″

Personality Type: ISTJ-T

Bio: Monty Keller is the quiet, studious leader of the Protectors. The second-oldest at seventeen, Monty’s authority and calm collection in the face of an emergency has turned him into the leader that a vigilantor group needs. He refuses to speak about his past except to a select few, calling his secrets “the last thing that no one has violated”. He trained Abby in fighting when the team was created and is probably the closest to her.

Jonah Darrow Watson

Age: 18

Height: 6’5”

Personality Type: INFP-T

Bio: Jonah lost both his parents in an earthquake when he was seven years old. Since then, he’s lived with his cousins, Ethan and Abby, first at his aunt and uncle’s house and then with the Protectors. He has a strong stutter and thus stays quiet most of the time. However, Jonah is thoughtful and caring, always trying to be there for his friends. He likes singing and heavy lifting work to gently show off his unnatural muscle strength.

David Peterson

Age: 15

Height: 5’10”

Personality Type: INTP-T

Bio: David is the brains behind the Protectors. An avid inventor and hacker, he’s taken over most of their garage to be his secret lab; not to mention the home for his beloved guinea pig Maple. He claims that Maple is super intelligent, even though most of the team have seen no proof of this. His van, Electron, is full of surprises and serves as the getaway vehicle for the team’s more elaborate missions. He joined the Protectors full time after his dad was killed by a heart attack. Deep down inside, David dreams of being a stunt driver– a pursuit that he practices every chance he gets, much to the fear of the team!

Ethan Watson

Age: 16.5 (very insistent on the .5 part)

Height: 5’11”

Personality Type: ENTJ-A

Bio: The older brother of Abby and adopted brother of Jonah, Ethan loves action, setting things on fire, and getting into mischief. On record, his weakness is hair gel, though he wouldn’t admit it if you asked him. He is rather self-conscious about his ETD (Essential Tremor Disorder) that acts up whenever he’s stressed or upset, sometimes to the point where he can’t control his hands at all. He’s prone to bashing others and taking things too far, but when it boils down to it, he’s a fearless fighter for his friends.

Patrick Finch

Age: 17

Height: 6’0”

Personality Type: ESFJ-T

Bio: If there are three things Patrick Finch loves in this world, it’s his ukulele, dancing, and his girlfriend Peyton. The most chill of the Protectors, Patrick’s always-positive attitude keeps everyone’s spirits up in their low points– although he’s also willing to sit and listen if you need a real friend. He likes to sing and dance at inopportune times and loves listening to Broadway music.

Abby Watson

Age: 14

Height: 5’1”

Personality Type: ENFP-A

Bio: Small in stature and big in personality, Abby is the spunky younger sister of Ethan and Jonah. Known for being super flexible (earning her the nickname “Pretzel”) Abby was trained by Monty and knew his sister Kestra well. Even though she lacks in height, she makes up for it with her high-tech boots that David designed to enhance her strengths and her own street smarts. She can be a bit motherly toward the other boys and often ends up as an impromptu medic when things get rough.

Jason Gabrin

Age: 14

Height: 5’6”

Personality Type: ISFJ-T

Bio: Innocent, injury-prone Jason really isn’t cut out for the hard life of a hero, but with nowhere else to go since both his parents disappeared, the Protectors are all he’s got. His cheerful nature helps when he dislocates his shoulder (again), slams his foot into the wall (again), or any other small traumas that befell him as an injury magnet. The youngest of the group, Jason is a bit like the baby of their “family”– everyone goes out of their way to make sure he’s okay. Well, except for Ethan– Ethan likes to abuse his injury magnet side.

Peyton Jared

Age: 16

Height: 5’6”

Personality Type: ESFP-A

Bio: Lover of baking, mysteries, and music, Peyton is Patrick’s girlfriend and honorary member of the team. While her parents’ divorce sometimes leads to her bringing a load on her shoulders, she always strives to stay positive and look on the bright side. She taught Patrick how to play the ukulele, and often brings in her baking skills to add some class to the Protector’s normal food supply. She also takes risks to steal important information from her father, a Level 3 Kommando Patrol. She’s got smarts enough to survive in the city– don’t let the grin and the blue hair fool you!

Emperor Mildecan

Age: 53

Height: 6’4”

Personality Type: ENTJ-A

Bio: Arcturus Mildecan is evil, sure– but he wouldn’t think of himself that way if you asked him. In his mind, Mildecan’s socialist schemes for Brieltas are just what the country needs to move into the future. To the world, he’s a hero for freeing Brieltas from the chains of capitilism and he loves being the center of attention– so long as it’s not his secrets that are at stake. Prideful and full of his twisted philosophies on relative truth, all of the Protectors hate Mildecan with a passion.
