What Do You Want To See in 2026?

Happy new year guys! Last year was admittedly… a bit of a wreck. I know I didn’t do a really great job keeping up with my nonfiction posting and I appreciate y’all’s grace as I triedd to navigate the balance between real life and my platform.

HOWEVER I’d really like to start strong in 2026.I’ve recently joined Medium and I’d like to cross-post my nonfiction articles there to help grow my platform and create a single spot for my articles so that when I’m freelancing, if people ask for examples of my work, I can easily give it to them in one place.

However, I need your help!

Coming up with ideas for articles that can be of best use to y’all is frankly… a lot of work. Which has been half my problem last year. What relatable horse articles do you write for teenagers who don’t have access to horses, AND that’s not just another excerpt of a text book?

So to start this year out, I’m asking for what you want to see in 2026! What nonfiction pieces would be most helpful to you? Is there a specific group of topics I should cover? And how best can I use this website to serve you all in 2026!

Drop it in the comments below. I can’t wait to hear your answers!

-An article on what a plot is and how you make them up best would be helpful
-How you feel on personifying horses in books
-An article on having several horses as opposed to one, and how the workload increases would be very helpful for writers!
-Also, I’d love it if you had a short story writing contest or something similar!

    Hope those are helpful, Allie!

If you don’t already have an article like this, a writer’s guide to horses! Or maybe that’s an article series. How to write horses as characters and how they differ from human characters, what not to do when writing horses… etc.
